Description: Published in Lawrence, Kansas by Allen Press (1947). First Edition. 223 pages. 5 ½ x 8 ¼ inches in size. Hard bound in cloth covers with Facsimile DJ.
Condition: (using AB Bookman’s Weekly criteria) grades as Good+ in Near Fine, FACSIMILE of a Very Good- DJ. Cloth covers show light rubbing along edges. End leaves show a little foxing and there is a rough spot at the top outside corner of the front free end page were a sticker was removed. Volume remains tight and is otherwise very clean, with no markings book plates, etc. DJ is a reprint of the original dust jacket. The image was taken from an original dust jacket having a few small edge tears and chips.
NOTE: Please note that three of the Forrest Allen books that I am currently listing show some type of alteration. I have attempted to clearly identify such alterations as I see them. The books came to me in this condition
