I purchaced this as a Christmas gift for my mother who lives in FL. I went to visit her the following year and it hadn't been out of the box. I hooked it up and although it powers up, it did not read any of the disks I tried to put in it (3). Out of warrentee and tough luck for me. I couldn't bring myself to throw it out, anybody handy with these things? Or use as parts if you have one already.
