For this unique coin pendant,  we have featured a Brilliant Uncirculated 2000 Sacagawea Dollar in a coin edge 12K Gold-filled Bezel.  

This side of the Golden Dollar portrays Sacagawea, a Shoshone Native American young woman.  On her back, she carries her infant son, Jean Baptiste, born on the Lewis & Clark Expedition.  Sacagawea's knowledge of several Indian languages and her familiarity with the topography of the territory was crucial to the success of the Expedition.

The reverse (back) of the new Dollar has a soaring American Bald Eagle, our nation's symbol.  It is encircled by 17 stars - one for each State in the Union at the time of the 1804 Lewis & Clark Expedition.  For Pendants featuring the Eagle side of this coin, see our other COIN PENDANTS.
