A GREAT HISTORICAL GIFT!

For this unique Pendant we have featured the reverse side of a 2000 Golden Sacagawea Dollar in a 12K Gold-filled Bezel with a Soldered Bail for hanging on a chain.  

 This side of the Dollar has a soaring American Bald Eagle, our nation's symbol.  It is encircled by 17 stars - one for each State in the Union at the time of the 1804 Lewis & Clark Expedition. 

The Golden Dollar's obverse (front) portrays Sacagawea, a Shoshone Native American young woman.  On her back, she carries her infant son, Jean Baptiste, born on the Lewis & Clark Expedition.  Sacagawea's knowledge of several Indian languages and her familiarity with the topography of the territory was crucial to the success of the Expedition.  For pendants featuring the Mother and Child, see our other COIN PENDANTS.

This Pendant is 1" diameter.

As with all U.S. Coins, the back is up-side-down from the front of the coin.
