A very good first edition (4th printing) copy of Cole Porter - A Biography by Charles Schwartz.  Dust jacket is good with minor chipping and scratches consistent with age.  Cole Porter is the first truly in-depth biography of the great songwriter.  Charles Schwartz examines in the most intimate detail the myriad dimensions of Cole Porter's life and work, from his birth in a small Indiana town before the turn of the century to his days as an international celebrity.  If you like Cole Porter's music, you will love learning about the man.  This is a very good read.  This book is from the estate of Robert White, former editor of the Oxford Press in Ohio.  An avid book collector, Bob's name appears in ink on the front pastedown.
