Volume I [1] (1824-1848): 519 pages; Volume II [2] (1848-1858): 553 pages; Volume III [3] (1858-1860): 555 pages; Volume IV [4] (1860-1861): 563 pages; Volume V [5] (1861-1862): 554 pages; Volume VI [6] (1862-1863): 562 pages; Volume VII [7] (1863-1864): 551 pages; Volume VIII [8] (1864-1865): 595 pages; Index [9]: 378 pages. All volumes published in 1953, except Index published in 1955. All nine (9) volumes bound in gray cloth with gilt lettering in midnight blue labels on spines. Hinges are surdy. The textblocks are tight and square, and the pages are clean and intact. Bookplates of former owner on front pastedowns. Mild chipping to spines of Vol. I and Vol. VII. Moderate chipping to top, front corner of Vol. I. Mild to moderate head wear. Slight edgewear.
