You are bidding on a color pin sorting activity kit, which includes the following items:

• 1 red sorting cup/tumbler and 4 red pins
• 1 blue sorting cup/tumbler and 4 blue pins
• 1 green sorting cup/tumbler and 5 green pins
• 1 yellow sorting cup/tumber and 5 yellow pins
• 1 caddy to use as a storage medium for the items, which can be hung on a nail and kept out-of-reach or for just placing on a bookshelf with puzzles and other learning activities for your preschool child. ***Please note--the color of your caddy may vary from the one shown in the gallery picture--depends on what I have in stock, but will most likely be a clear white style or black--not the solid white as shown in the above picture.

 **FYI~~I used some of the pins from my sons kit for picture taking purposes to show use/storage, process, etc...your kit will include all new items from the list above.  The sorting cups, which measure approximately 3 inches tall/high; the pins are approximately 2 inches long; and the caddy is approximately 4 inches high when measured from the front.

~~My son loved his kit, and we had extras still in their plastic wrap, but I did need to remove them to take the picture for listing the item on sale, so while everything is new, only the sorting cups/tumblers and pins will ship in their original plastic wrap.  This activity is designed to promote simple sorting skills with preschool age children, as well as fine motor skills work due to the need to squeeze/pinch open the pins to place them on the rim of the sorting cups.  However, for younger children, they can simply match them and place them inside the corresponding color cup.  We have had tons of fun with this simple sorting activity and think that you will too.   

~~Just a side note, simple sorting activities such as this one allow children to use process skills, which helps them organize the world around them.  In this particular activity, objects or pins are grouped by color and according to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), they support the use of simple sorting and classifying activities within early childhood learning environments.  Because of my involvement with early learning/preschool learning environments, I have used and tested many of these types of activities and think that you will enjoy it too.  My son has always loved this activity due to its hands-on nature, but I would not recommend it for children much younger than 3 years of age.  One reminder, due to the fact that the pins have a small spring inside them, you will want/need to inspect them occasionally after use to make sure the spring-loaded nature of them is still in working order or frustration could arise with your little one.  Not to mention the obvious use of common sense regarding possible choking hazards (we have personally never had an issue with any of these concerns, but the pins you are buying are New.)  Also, we have never broken one in over a years time and use.~~  Enjoy!
