Stava - (2007) - A Schiffer Military History Book - 126 pages, hardcover, slick cover illustrated w/ photos, no dustcover. Condition: NEW, right off our shelf. This is one of the MOST fascinating books on the Southwest Pacific Theater of Operations in WW2 that I’ve ever seen. Based on 5th Air Force photographer John Stava’s collection, and undiscovered until the mid 1990’s (!), this book captures a large scope of the war in this area, from mundane and ordinary moments to white-knuckle combat, covering 1943 through 1945. This is a great read, and superbly and massively illustrated by tons of photos you’ve probably never seen before! Not to miss! 123108-10
