The CIS(Continuous Ink System) consists of a high-capacity ink reservoir (same as using between 8 ~ 10 ink cartridges per color) that is attached to a cartridge via secure tubing. The tubing acts as a vacuum to extract ink from the reservoir and keep the cartridge full of ink. Because of the large reservoir capacity, you can print for an extended period of time without running low right away. There is a red line on the reservoir to indicate when it is time to refill.
Each CIS comes complete with easy-to-follow instructions, ink, and all accessories needed to successfully use the system. The included UCI cartridges have a permanent smart chip already installed, which will automatically reset itself when your printer power is turned off (for 5 seconds) and turned back on. No mess! No leaking!
Not only do you get the Unit-kit Continuous Ink System but you will receive an abundance of ink to get you started. - 7 Color Assortment includes Photo Black, Light Black, Cyan, Light Cyan, Magenta, Light Magenta and Yellow in 85ml bottles and 7 Colors in 120ml for CIS Ink Refill bottles included.

| 2.Set-Up Continuous Ink System(CIS) |
|
a. Before installation, lay out all your parts in front of your printer.
b. Check your system for any leakage, and make sure your tubing system is tightly blunded and straight as shown in Fig 1-1.
c. Place the CIS on the right hand side of the printer (Fig 2-1) ,and keep it at the same level with printer
d. Hold down the ink tank with one hand and unplug the original air stopper(Fig 2-2).
e.Insert the provided air breather plugs as shown(Fig2-3). |

| 3.Cartridge Installation |
|
a. Open printer cover and make sure cartridge compartment is on the left side and easily accessible.
b. Unplug the printer.
c. Remove original cover, and carefully install CIS cover (Fig. 3-1).
d. Attach color cartridge pad to the back of color cartridge (Fig 3-2).
e. Ensuring that colors correspond, push cartridges all the way down in compartment.
f. Make sure the cartridge tubing comes up between color and black cartridge cover (Fig. 3-3). |

| 4.Tube Adjustment and Positioning |
|
a. Use adhesive pads to attach tube guide securely on the top right of the printer (Fig 4-1).
b. Make sure the tubes are not twisted and are straight (Fig 4-2-through 4-3). |
|

|
c. Adjust tubing between cartridge compartment and tube guide to correct length; allowing enough room for the cartridges to move back and forth freely (Fig. 4-4 through Fig 4-6). |

| d. Plug printer back in and make sure system moves securely and smoothly.
|
| 5.Refilling Ink |
| When the ink levels reach the indicator margin (sticker on the ink tank with red line (fig. 5-1), the ink tank system has reached its quotient line and needs to be refilled (Fig 5-1). |
|
|
|
Follow these steps:
1.Gently remove the air breather plugs in order to have more filling room.
2. Remove plugs off of filling hole and refill the proper color of ink into the corresponding ink tank (Fig 5-2), (use towel to wipe off any spillage).
3. Make sure you use the specially designed inks for the CI System as they are designed for optimal results.
NOTE: When removing CI System, remove cartridges and put tape or napkin over dispensing hole.
Printer and ink tank MUST remain at the same level (not higher and not lower). |
| 6.Ink Levels |
|
If your computer gives you a low ink warning but your ink tanks are still full, turn off your printer, wait for one minute and turn on again. The printer will reset itself and will continue printing normally. Attention :
1. After installing the CI System, do not remove the cartridges.
2. When you are printing do not move the ink tank up or down. Keep it stable and at level with the printer.
3. Store at 15-35 degrees Celsius.
4.The ink and cartridge flow have been designed and tested to function as a unit. We recommend you use specially designed ink for the CIS for optimal results. Caution:
1. Do not ingest ink and keep out of reach of children.
2. Do no leave under sunlight or in extreme weather conditions.
3. Do not drop ink tank or handle roughly.
