About Shusaku

 

He was born in 1829 in Tonoura, Japan and later became the strongest go player in Japanese Go history!! He was famous for his 19 victories in the Castle Games between 1849 and 1861. In “Hikaru No Go”, Sai was first in the soul of Shusaku. If you have seen that cartoon, you must remember this ^ ^

About this book

 

This book, 1092 pages, almost covers all the games Shusaku played in his life, including his last game (unfinished). Although it’s in Chinese, there are almost no text comments and the moves are numbered with 1, 2, 3… So it’s easy to read the games. Unlike other books, with 1092 pages, it collects all 471 games he played in his life and lists them according to the time table. So either for study or collection, it will be a good choice for sure!!
