5FT Low Proximity Exhaust Hood

Custom built for Concession Mobile Trailers

This is a new low height hood system designed specifically for Trailers in the Concession Restaurant Business.  The exhaust fan mounts at the top edge of the concession trailer with mounting brackets for the fan provided.  Piping and installation are not included here and is provided by the installers you will be using. 

Call or E-Mail us for a freight quote as freight varies from location to location.  Regarding having the hood installed, if you're in Tulsa, Oklahoma area we can arrange for installation which is extra.  This unit does not come with fire suppression (required for operation) as cooking line ups vary. 

We can provide you with fire suppression installed anywhere in the United States, if you need a quote on fire suppression, provide us with the hood length and a list of all the equipment with the dimensions of cooking equipment that will be used below the hood and whether the appliances are gas, propane or electric.

NOTE: For you're safety, this unit MUST have a fire suppression system.  This advertised price does not include fire suppression.  Fire suppression is priced seperately, field installed when the hood arrives at your location.  

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
This is a "Buy Now" item.  E-Mail or call us with you're zip code for a freight rate.  Be sure to let us know if you need a liftgate for unloading this unit off the truck when it arrives at you're location OR if you'll need call ahead service from the freight line.  Both of these services are extra charges from the freight line.

IMPORTANT FREIGHT INFORMATION:
Keep in mind that you, the end user are responsible for inspecting the venthood for freight damage upon arrival to you're location, and to take notation of any damage on the freight bill before signing and accepting the delivery.  Any freight claims are between you the customer and the freight carrier.  (These units are either shipped out of our stock or shipped direct to you from the factory.  2 week lead time from the factory is standard lead time.)

SPECIFICATIONS:

The model BLL is a low proximity passover type hood. Hood shall have size, shape and performance specified on drawings.

Construction shall be type 430 stainless steel with a #3 or #4 polish where exposed. Individual component construction shall be determined by manufacturer, ETL, and NSF. Construction shall be dependent on the structural application to minimize distortion and other defects. All seams, joints and penetrations of the hood enclosure to its lower outermost perimeter that directs and captures grease-laden vapor and exhaust gases shall have a liquid-tight continuous external weld in accordance with NFPA 96. Hood shall be wall type with provisions to screw to back wall.

Ventilator shall be furnished with UL classified aluminum/stainless steel baffle filters, supplied in size and quantity as required by ventilator. The filters shall extend the full length of the hood and the filler panels shall not be more than 6" in width.

The hood manufacturer shall supply complete computer generated submittal drawings including hood sections view(s) and hood plan view(s). These drawings must be available to the engineer, architect and owner for their use in construction, operation and maintenance.

Exhaust duct collar to be 4" high with 1" flange. Duct sizes, CFM and static pressure requirements shall be as shown on drawings. Static pressure requirements shall be precise and accurate; air velocity and volume information shall be accurate within 1-ft increments along the length of the ventilator.

The hood shall have:
  • The grease drain system shall be an enclosed integral part of the hood back and have slope with an exposed, removable ½ pint grease cup to facilitate cleaning.
  • Low profile design to allow plate shelf and passover design.

The hood shall be ETL Listed as "Exhaust Hood Without Exhaust Damper", NSF Listed and built in accordance with NFPA 96. The hood shall be listed for 400° F cooking surfaces at 110 CFM/ft.

All seams shall be welded and have stainless steel on exposed surfaces. Unexposed surfaces shall be constructed of aluminized steel.
