This horn was purchased new in May 2006 for my daughter and is in excellent condition.  I included a picture of one scratch I found on the bell and a small ding.  There are other very slight scratches and a very small ding along the back that were to subtle for my camera to pick up.

After multiple assurances that she was ready for a double horn, my daughter has now decided she prefers to express herself through singing.  I'm also a horn player and if I could justify keeping it for myself, I would.  It's a beautiful instrument!

Based on the original CONNstellation, the Conn 8D is definitely for the serious horn player.  Wonderful tone, intonation, and response across registers and dynamic extremes.  It has the full-bodied horn sound that horn enthusiasts love.
