You are bidding on a 1970's vintage Conn Director Trombone. This horn is the PERFECT horn you want in your hands for the beginner or the marching band student either in college or high school. It has a good tone, a few dents here and there, but a smooth action slide. No dents on the slide barrel.
All horn players want a great horn for concert series and a "throw around" horn for marching or rough environments. It includes a Bach 12 C mouthpiece. The music holder rod is in place due to the 12C sticking in the horn. I've had it pulled several times and one good knock on the top of the mouthpiece, and it's stuck again. You'll notice on the pics that I have a couple of red lines pointing to the dent caused by the mouthpiece when the case was closed. Just wanted you to see the contact points. There is nothing you need to worry about in terms of the dent growing or changing...it is what it is. One pic shows a plastic compression dent on the outside of the case. I don't know how it got there, but the bell is straight, nothing damaged. If you want the mouthpiece pulled prior to shipping, I will do so for you. Just be aware about the next time you put it back on.
Will ship either FEDEX ground or UPS or the way you desire. I usually use FEDEX for the convenience factor for me. Ask me any questions, I'll definitely SELL this thing. I have a reserve on it, but when the initial price gets somewhere close, I'm removing it....or lowering the buy it now price. I don't want much, just want this horn to be used again. Good luck.
