Connie Cleveland's Obedience experiences include 5 Obedience Trial Champions, a UDT Maltese, and a CDX Shih-tzu. In this comprehensive program, she shares her methods and theories that have helped her excel at the sport of dog obedience.

Disc #1:
In this DVD, untrained dogs are taught basic skills.  Learn how to respond to common mistakes your dog will make.  Approximately two dozen dogs of varying breeds and their handlers are featured learning the basics.  These skills are: coming when loose, heeling with attention on the handler, picking up a dumbbell off the floor, jumping and directed jumping exercises.  With a foundation in these basic skills, Connie will show you how to teach the remaining obedience exercises in DVD 2 and 3.

Disc #2:
In this DVD, Connie covers recall skills (recalls, signals, and drop on recall) and jumping skills (broad jump, go-outs and directed jumping).

Disc #3:
This DVD focuses on advanced heeling skills (patterns, halts, turns, finishes and pivots), retrieving skills (retrieve over the high jump, gloves and scent articles) and stationary skills (group stays, stand for exam and moving stand).

The training manual contains an appendix for easy reference to the videos, and numerous unpublished articles on training.  Progress charts illustrate which exercises to teach concurrently.
