Contax APO Makro-Planar 120mm f/4 T* lens. Serial # 8798483. Made in Japan by Carl Zeiss. Lens stops range is f/4 - f/45. Lens will focus down to 1.7 feet or 0.55 meter. This lens is for the Contax 645 AF camera. Lens uses 72mm filters. Lens is Ex++/Mint- or 9/9.5 of 10 cosmetic condition. Black finish, paint and scales are super nice. No dents or dings. Perfect glass. Clean front and rear elements. Very nice T* multicoating. No coating marks, scratches or separation. Few dust spots inside (could be seen with flashlight ONLY). Smooth focusing. Clean and smooth diaphram. Clean electrical contacts. The Zeiss lenses have been known for their quality optics with good sharpness and contrast. Lens comes original Contax Metal hood GB-73 with box, front and rear caps. Sells with NO RESERVE at a starting price of $1595. I have more Contax lenses and accessories, Large Format cameras and Lenses, Vintage and Collectibles and Soft Focus Lenses.
