Copeland Late Spode 3 PC. COVERED SAUCE DISH 1891

A decorative three piece English china sauce dish with lid and underplate, made by Copeland Late Spode in the pattern number 2 5114, c.1891. It measures 7-7/8" from handle to handle, the underplate measures 6-1/2" x 5" and it stands 5" tall. It has green, red and orange overpainting and the backstamp for A.T. Willey & Co. Ltd. Montreal, and this colourway is probably exclusive to this retailer. It has the blue and brown Spode backstamps and an underglaze crowned COPELAND with an underglaze 80S stamp. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing on the underplate and some losses to the orange overpainting on the bowl. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $12 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.

Items over $85 in value must be sent fully insured if paid by credit card. We can't accept the GREEN US postal money orders, only the PINK (International) US postal money orders, so please be specific at the post office about this - other US money orders do not have this particular restriction, and we accept them also. We are happy to combine on shipping for multiple purchases whenever possible, and we pack well. Insured shipping is higher, and we do ship internationally, and items can be shipped FedEx also (higher than post office rates, but very quick & reliable). We try to describe the item and its condition as thoroughly as possible, but emails & additional picture requests are welcome, and will be cheerfully answered as quickly as possible. Please note that Canadian insurance is different than US insurance, and please do not send a payment until you have heard from us with the payment information. Shipping is from Canada (actual shipping cost, we pack ourselves and don't charge handling fees, although there is sometimes a nominal charge towards the cost of bubble wrap, foam packing and packing materials, which we must purchase) and mailed payments from the US require 69 cents postage for first class mail. Canadian dollar equivalent payments are accepted from Canadian residents, and we will send you the appropriate $CAD quote for shipping and tax before you send the payment. Canadian residents must add the applicable tax(es).
