Corning Costar CellCube System Controller Model 3220 - Excellent cosmetic condition. We do not have other parts of the CellCube System and the 13.8V, 3.0A power adapter, so we can not properly test the controller.
From the Corning website:
CellCube
® Systems
The CellCube System provides a fast, simple, and compact method for the mass culture of attachment-dependent cells. It uses a tissue culture treated growth surface for cell attachment, and continually perfuses the cells with fresh medium for increased cell productivity. The CellCube System is comprised of four pieces of capital equipment: the system controller, oxygenator, circulation, and media pumps and is designed to use disposable CellCube Modules. Performance data from the CellCube System can be easily scaled to the production system. Please inquire about CellCube System pricing. Corning provides on-site technical support for the CellCube System.
The CellCube Modules provide a traditional tissue culture treated surface or new Corning CellBIND
Surface for the growth of attachment dependent cells. The CellCube System provides an environment which more closely simulates in vivo conditions and reliably distributes nutrients and oxygen with low differential gradients across all cells within the modules.
CellCube
® System Controller
The CellCube Controller is a fully integrated, multichannel instrument which monitors and controls the CellCube System. It is designed for the most demanding production environments including c-GMP. All operational parameters including dissolved oxygen levels, pH, gas flow rates, and pump flow rates are set, calibrated, and monitored on a menu driven screen on the faceplate of the controller. Remote PC control and monitoring of the system is possible using host software.
The 16-bit embedded microprocessor and software operate as a stand-alone control system without a PC and provide resident, non-volatile data capture for 10 days. Data is stored and exported as comma delimited ASCII files which are spreadsheet compatible. View menus (on the screen or on a remote PC) provide both real time displays of all operating parameters and data histories.
One serial port is available for connection to the user’s PC. Up to 32 CellCube systems can be networked from a single PC. Temperature may be monitored through an RTD connector on the faceplate. A remote control I/O port allows remote operation and monitoring of the CellCube Circulation Pumps (Cat. No. 3222 or 3223) and Media Pump (Cat. No. 3221). A three gas mixing station regulates gas flows and pressures through separate mass flow controllers, which also monitor and log gas flow data. Three alarmed outputs may be configured to signal variations in oxygen levels, gas flows, pump speeds, temperature, and overall system function.

Guarantee: If the item is not as described, you can return it for a full refund (minus shipping). The item(s) must be returned in the same condition as they were originally shipped. Make sure the item(s) are packaged well and insured: if an item is damaged during a return shipment, it will be the responsibility of the buyer to file an insurance claim and receive the reimbursement from the shipping company.
The Satisfaction Guarantee DOES NOT APPLY to items damaged in shipping - I am not responsible for a damage caused by other people’s actions. All I can do is to pack an item well and insure it. Therefore, if an item is received damaged, an insurance claim will need to be filed. You will receive a refund only after we go through the insurance claim procedure. The claim procedure is the following: the recipient makes a number of large and detailed photos of the damage and e-mails them to the sender; the sender files a claim, submitting photos and description of the damage; a shipping company representative collects the package for inspection; the sender is notified about the decision regarding the claim; a check (if any) is issued. These are not my rules – such are the rules of shipping companies.
IF YOU RECEIVE A DAMAGED ITEM, YOU CAN NOT RETURN IT TO ME FOR A REFUND WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE INSURANCE CLAIM PROCEDURE. No refund will be issued in this case, because I will not be able to file a claim and receive a refund from the shipping company. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS – without them, an insurance claim will not be accepted by the shipping company. It is the responsibility of the recipient to satisfy the insurance requirements of the shipping company: I have no control over the way you handle the return of the item to the shipping company. Make sure the item is packed as it was originally, with all packaging materials – the most common reason for declining a claim is ‘insufficient packaging’. I always pack well and use plenty of packaging materials, but if some of them are discarded or the damaged item is repackaged inaccurately, the shipping company may decline the claim. If the claim is declined, you will not receive the reimbursement: it is paid by the shipping company, not by me.
This is not meant to discourage you from buying (a damage in shipping does not happen very often, I package all items well), but rather to separate the responsibilities and to emphasize that I have no control over what happens to a package after I ship it. I have the responsibility to package an item well. Once you receive a package, you have a complete control over it - I don't. And if it is received damaged, it is only you who can handle the package properly to satisfy the insurance requirements.
