| This is a Carn Pottery cat it is in excellent condition apart from one small chip to the cats ear, which you can see from the photograph. This Carn piece has a rubber ink stamp on the underside and is signed by John Beusman, the artist. This piece measures approx 25cm tall. Carn Pottery was established in 1971, though John Beusman is still producing the pottery to date. There are several distinctive features unique to the pottery, one being that all of the pottery is made from white clay, meaning the base colour is always white or off-white. Another is the vases are always clear glazed inside, with an exception of some made during a 2 year period in the 1970s. Naive flower or fruit designs are also a common feature on the back of Carn Pottery.
