This beautiful high quality art print is "tipped-in" onto its original vintage matte backing, made expressly for the purpose of being trimmed to fit various sized picture frames. Or the print can easily be removed from the backing by gently lifting along the edge loosely affixed to the backing, as shown in the photo at right.
This high-quality print comes from a wonderful portfolio of prints, very suitable for framing. The print is in excellent condition - crisp and sharp, not discolored or faded and there are are no creases, tears, or stains on the print. The detail of this print is just beautiful, so close to the original as you can see in the image above. The back side of the matting contains a short list of other title by this artist. The matte backing may have slight toning or yellowing from age. Also included is the original publisher's commentary about the piece, a separate page.

About my prints...
The prints I sell are mostly from vintage and antique portfolios and books, making them excellent alternatives to expensive art prints, which you can expect to pay much more for in today's market. The publishers knew their work would be closely examined and under intensive scrutiny by art critics. When compared to expensive posters, the colors in these prints are often quite noticeably more vivid and sharp. In some cases these prints are the only possible way to acquire copies of the rare paintings, engravings, and photographic images you'll find in my eBay store. Add a frame and you can enjoy this print and it's aesthetic appeal without spending a fortune!
My shipping procedures...
A lot of care and expense is put into making sure your prints arrive undamaged. Prints are carefully bagged in plastic sleeves, gently rolled, and mailed in a sturdy cardboard mailing tube. Larger orders and Priority Mail orders are usually shipped flat between sturdy cardboard using creative methods to prevent the USPS from bending or damaging your prints. A large tube mailer may be used for larger prints depending upon what appears to be the safest way to ship. PLEASE BE SURE TO HANDLE YOUR PRINTS WITH CARE TO AVOID DAMAGING THEM WHEN REMOVING THEM FROM THE TUBE OR PACKAGE.
