CT-29 Counterfeit Confederate Note.  (1861 SLAVE NOTE), One of several varieties of the note that was counterfeited. This one is listed in Tremmel's book as the CT-29/237 variety. These are 140+ year old Obsolete antique notes.These Counterfeit Confederate notes sometimes are rarer than the originals. The North printed and try to flood the South with these notes during the war. I will be putting 6-7 Counterfeits notes that I have duplicates of up for sale this week. Richmond, Va. listed as printed on Sept. 2nd 1861. Listed as a rarity of (7) This is a authentic Counterfeit Confederate Note! not a copy of some type.
