INSPIRATION: I HAD THE PRIVILAGE TO TAKE CHARLIE OUT FISHING WHEN HE CAME TO CUBA TO DO A USO SHOW. GUANTANAMO BAY CUBA IS ISOLATED DUTY AND IT WAS GREAT OF HIM TO GIVE HIS TIME TO COME DO THE SHOW FOR THE NAVY, MARINE, ARMY AND COAST GUARD PERSONNEL THAT WERE STATIONED THERE. HE IS JUST PLAIN DOWN TO EARTH REAL AND GENEROUS PERSON. HE PERFORMED ONE OF MY FAVORITES FOR THE SHOW, THE DEVIL WENT DOWN TO GEORGIA, IN REFLECTION OF THE TIME SPENT WITH HIM AND RECENTLY HEARING THAT GREAT SONG AGAIN I DECIDED TO PAINT HIM.

DETAILS: Original art, painted on wood and framed, wire hanger attached on back. Front, and sides painted and sealed with clear Polycoat for protection and durability. No need to frame, just buy it and hang it.

SIZE: Measures Approximately 18" by 22" overall

ADDITIONAL INFO: Each piece is unique, original, hand made, painted numbered, dated and signed by me. All pieces are made exclusively from recycled, salvaged found materials; except for detail paints. Many raw material pieces have dings, knots, chips and other imperfections that are inherent to salvaged materials. Colors may vary slightly due to lighting, digital imaging, monitor and PC settings
