Covered RAILROAD Bridge Bookmarks. . .Vermont
This bookmark features my original photograph of the FISHER BRIDGE in Vermont. This is a RARE covered railroad bridge (built and used exclusively for trains). This bridge has been taken out of service. It features a FULL-LENGTH CUPOLA to allow steam to exit the bridge. There are very few covered railroad bridges still in existence and this is the only one remaining with the FULL LENGTH CUPOLA.
The bookmark, printed on recycled paper in the U.S., measures 2" x 7" and comes with a clear vinyl protective sleeve for years of enjoyment and a matching silver tassel attached to the sleeve. The front also contains the location, date of construction, and truss type. The back contains a short description of the bridge. This bridge is awesome, it has a peaceful park-like setting, including some history of the bridge, a picnic table and mountains nearby. I walked across the inside of this bridge and it was truly amazing, it was like being sent back in time 60 or 70 years. I traveled from Texas to Vermont to see this covered bridge and many others.
Now you can truly enjoy the peace and simplicity of a past era, the time of covered bridges and steam engines.
This makes a great gift for the covered bridge fan, the railroad fan, the steam engine fan, the reader or just anyone. Get yours today!
Up to 4 bookmarks can be shipped for one low price, $1.50.
