The Crate KXB220 fuses the functionality of a high quality four-channel stereo mixer with massive power output, making it the ultimate keyboard rig. The stereo input channels (1-3) can be used to accommodate three stereo keyboards or sound modules or up to six mono instruments, thanks to the ingenious use of each channel's pan function for level control. Channel 4 can also be used for an additional mono instrument or a Low-Z mic, even those requiring phantom power. Tone and feedback control is expertly handled by an onboard stereo graphic EQ, which provides more tone shaping and patching capability than any other amp in its class.
Powerful and supremely versatile, the KXB220 delivers 160 watts to the internal 15" speaker/ tweeter combination and up to 220 watts RMS when used in conjunction with an extension cabinet. This allows the KXB220 to power a single full range extension speaker, a 4 ohm sub, or a pair of 8 ohm PA speakers, making it perfect for use as a "PA in a box." You can even use the Post-EQ Line Out to patch into another KXB220 for the ultimate true stereo rig.
