Crazy Eddie Memorabilia

Those of us who go back a few decades remember "Crazy Eddie" - The upstart consumer electronics chain started in 1971 by Eddie and Sam Antar, which Jerry Caroll in his commercial helped the chain grow in leaps and bounds, and their ads to be the most recognized commercial on TV - appealing to the "Doo-Wop" generation.

It was my favorite place to go to buy records until the owners got into a mess of trouble with the Feds.

Well, those days are gone. I was a loyal customer until I could no longer be a customer, and I never had any problems with anything I bought there.

Crazy Eddie still has loyal devotees as the links above (a few of thousands that will show up on a Google search), and a piece of memorabilia from those great days is hard to come by.

I am going to part with two of my three Crazy Eddie yellow P-caps for whatever the market will bear. If you want a piece of history, now is your chance! One of these caps would make a great Christmas gift - I don't know of any others in existence in this absolutely pristine - never worn - condition.
