This is half of a fleece from one of my two moorit CVM cross ewes.  I often call them vanilla ewes as their fleece sometimes has areas that are the color of cake batter when you add vanilla to it. The staple length of this fleece is 3-3/4"..  It weighs approximately 2 lb 11 oz.  It is fine wool and is next-to-skin-soft. I don't cover my sheep as they are grazing most of the year in irrigated pasture.  The fleece was heavily skirted and the small amount of vm in it will drop out when it is washed and carded, or combed.
