Ceramic 5 gallon antique crock jug. Double color brown on top and white on the bottom. This jug is 20 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches in diameter. Blue paint has the number 5 stamped on the front as shown to denote that it is a 5 gallon crock jug. Above the "5" is an Eagle with the letters "U" "S" stamped above her wings. This is visible on the pictures if you look closely. This jug weighs 19 pounds. There is a 3 finger handle on the top of this near the spout as the pic shows. This item is at least 60 years old as it has been in the family for that length of time, but I can't say for sure exactly how old it is. There are a few small chips around the bottom rim from normal use. Photo shows them. There are no cracks what so ever. A very fine, shiny piece none the less.
