Cuckoo Clock gorgeous antique German black forest

This is an old classic vintage clock that has been fully tested and is in wonderful condition

The clock has been completely tested and runs perfectly.

The history and exact vintage of the clock is unknown, but it is quite old and appears to be all wood

Clock has a very nice black forest wood finish- many parts look hand carved. The only flaw is that the minute hand is broken and needs to be replaced.

The carvings on this clock have really wonderful detail. The top bird has a very pretty realistic glass eye. The framing and leaves which surround the whole clock are wonderfully carved as well.

Antiqued Pinecone weights are marked 275 8U.

Clock cuckoo's once on the half hour and once for each hour on the hour.

This clock is about 8 inches high [not counting the chains and weights] by 6 inches wide at the maximum points.

Movement is marked MADE IN WEST GERMANY. Also has marking which include A25-84 and G.M.1884288 1892176 along with a logo which is partially hidden by the clockworks. I can see ??GULA. Top finial with oak leaves and bird attaches to clock with tiny nails and brackets located on the roof of the clock. Rare to find in this excellent condition- and a smaller size to fit anywhere. This has been fully tested in my home for several days and works perfectly.

Buyer pays USPS Priority rate shipping, unless otherwise stated or arranged except on small items which may be shipped first class. I charge a handling fee of $1.00 for extra packing materials or time on fragile items. Effective immediately- I will be adding a $.80 charge for delivery confirmation on all items sent within the USA.

I take great care in packaging items for shipping but cannot be responsible for damage or loss during transport. If you want postal insurance- please let me know at end of auction and I will send a revised invoice through paypal with the postal fee included. I recommend insurance but leave option up to the buyer. If you choose to not insure your item, do not write me expecting a refund of any kind if it is damaged by the postal service. NO EXCEPTIONS so consider the insurance option carefully.

International buyers add $5.00 plus actual shipping costs for handling and paperwork required. I ship on Tuesdays and Fridays. If you are in my area {Palm Springs, Calif} and want to pick up items in person to save the shipping fees, that can be easily arranged.

In the future- there will be weekends when I will not have access to a computer from Thursday through Sunday evening ... Time to start taking a few much needed 'unplugged' weekends...Please do not be concerned if I do not reply to emails over the weekend and I will answer all emails by Monday afternoon...This may change my regular shipping schedule by a day.
