I'm not sure if it is a collar button or a single cufflink. It is at least 30 years old and in very good condition. I think there was supposed to be some sort of decorative disk affixed to the mother of pearl to cover up the post hole. The 5/16" diameter brass back side is gold plated and is hinged for easy buttoning. 7/16" long; mother of pearl button has 1/2" diameter.
