Simply Cupcakes of Naples is an online cupcakery. That means that we operate from a web site (www.simplycupcakes.net) without the expense of a storefront. We deliver to a limited geographic area. If the order is large enough, the delivery is free and in some cases there is a nominal delivery charge. Our concept is unique and extremely successful. You can be the Simply Cupcakes of your city or town !!

We will provide everything you need to open an online cupcakery. Even if you have had limited baking experience, we can help make you succesful. You know how popular cupcakes are and now you can cash in on the craze and have fun doing it.


The total cost of opening your own Simply Cupcakes location is $4750. It includes the following:

1. Use of the Simply Cupcakes name and logo. You would be Simply Cupcakes of (your city) and you will have an exclusive territory.

2. A manual to get you started, which includes all of the information you need to help you start and grow your business, including, market tested recipes, marketing ideas and press releases.

3. A Simply Cupcakes website that includes your name and contact information. The site will include an online ordering form.

4. 500 business cards.

5. 500 postcards to send to prospective customers ...and the ability to order more at cost.

6. 500 address labels of prospective customers (both commercial and consumer). We will provide 500 more a month free for six months.

7. A Simply Cupcakes apron with your own logo on it. You will be able to develop a clothing line with your logo, as well.

8. 200 plastic containers to hold half a dozen cupcakes each, and 50 containers to hold 2 cupcakes each.

9. 100 pink cupcake boxes with clear plastic windows, and 100 inserts (holds 1 dozen)

10. 50 mini cupcake boxes and inserts (holds 1 dozen) to be used as a "Mini Sampler" of your mini cupcakes.

11. 2 muffin pans (holds 24) and 2 mini muffin pans.

12. 500 cupcake papers and 500 mini cupcake papers

13. Mini cupcake trays and domes.

14. Easy-to- follow recipe cards for all of our selections, and additional cards as new recipes are added.

15. Pastry bags with stainless steel tips.

16. Pastry bag stand.

17. Scoop.

18. Access to the Simply Cupcakes online bulletin board, where there will be regular marketing tips and you can exchange ideas with other Simply Cupcakes Licensees.

19. Assistance in complying with local laws and requirements.

20. Exclusive territory,usually one county which is about as far as you will want to deliver.


The total price of $4,750 includes everything listed above as well as ongoing support. No additional fees or charges.

A business isn't born overnight and there are a number of things that you will have to do to be ready to open for business.

Rather than overwhelm you, we will help you get started in stages. Once you sign up with us, you will send your first payment of $1,750. At that time, we will send you instructions for obtaining your domain name; we will also order your business cards, postcards, have your personalized logo created and begin construction of your web site. During that time we will explain what you have to do to be a legal business and open a business bank account. It's all not as hard as it sounds and we will be there to help you.

Once all of these items are taken care of, you will pay the remaining balance of $3000 and we will send you our manual and recipes and have your supplies drop-shipped to you by each of the suppliers. The following few weeks after that will consist of practicing baking the cupcakes and getting them right every time. You will need to recruit "tasters" who can give you an honest opinion. You will most likely have questions and maybe even a few problems, but you will receive support either through the bulletin board, by email, or by phone with Joanne (the founder of Simply Cupcakes).

Once you have confidence in your product you can begin getting the word out. We will show you how to potentially get free magazine and newspaper coverage, and maybe even appear on local TV. We will then send you the mailing labels and you can start sending out your postcards. You might even want to sign up for a Farmers' Market in your area, if there is one.

You will build the business slowly at first, and as you build confidence, you can begin accepting more and more orders. That's the beauty of this business: you don't have to take on more than you can handle. As your reputation grows you will probably be providing cupcakes to larger events, such as banquets, fund raisers, and weddings and will have a number of "regulars," including commercial accounts. You may even hire some help and possible open a retail location. Then one day you will find that you are a success, and living the dream of so many others who have always wanted to start a cupcake business, but don't where to begin.
