Curiosity Brittany 1912 Art Print by Mortimer Menpes

The item being offered is a vintage art print titled Curiosity Brittany by British and Australian artist Mortimer Luddington Menpes (1855 - 1938). Menpes was a war artist and engraver, author, printmaker and illustrator. This print dates to circa 1912, and is possibly a bookplate from the book Brittany published in 1912 with text by Dorothy Menpes and illustrations by Mortimer. The print is signed by the artist in the plate. The image part of the print measures 5½" x 4½". It is matted under a single white matte and wrapped in cellophane. This is the way I purchased it, and I have not removed the cellophane. The matte board measures 9⅞" x 8¾". The print is in very good condition with no tears.  Any discoloration you might see is simply light reflection off the cellophane.
