                        Here is a first edition of Currier and Ives Picture History of the Civil War.This oblong size book has 48 one sided hand colored prints.Currently there are no other copies of this title on Ebay on only one on line for 75.00 dollars.This volume was published by Jack Brussel in 1960.Counting the two prints on the jacket there are 50 hand colored printsThe 48 prints in the text are one sided and as bright as the day they were printed ! The book grades VG +.It is free of any former owner names or marking.The tips and the spine ends are lightly rubbed.The fore edge of the rear board has a small area of rubbing.The jacket is G - condition.The top and bottom edges have have sveral closed tears and small chips.The front flap isn't price clipped.Because of it's large size I was unable to scan the whole cover.Also,postage will be figured accordingly and offers less than half will be declined.
