Such a pretty little pitcher ... 
You can see opal fire in the glass around the top edge.

Pretty small Custard glass pitcher with a spray of hand painted dark pink roses in the uppermost band. The scalloped top is edged in gold. It has a band of diamonds and triangles around the lower part and a starburst design on the bottom. Not marked, but I believe it was made by Heisey to be used for a souveiner, but no city was painted on it or either it was removed. There is another piece on eBay listing with the same pattern and it is marked Heisey. They refer to it as Cut Block and give a reference book. 

  • It is in great condition with one issue where the gold paint is worn just a little. No chips, cracks or breaks. There is some roughness in one area where the pattern is cut in. I do not believe this is tiny chips, just rough edge. One tiny pin point size spot of gold on the handle and a small scratch in the leaves of the painting. There is also a line (straw mark) just below the spray of roses. Hard to see except at side glance.

· Not marked, but the bottom pattern looks like Heisey.


Very nice small pitcher to add to your collection ... 3" to the spout ... handle to spout is 3½" ...
Bottom circle is 1.5/8".
