This knife is a Custom  FULL TAPERED TANG 440C AFRICAN KUDU  DROP POINT HUNTING KNIFE. Another great custom hand made knife from Bocki.

The blade is 4-1/8 long, 3/16" thick tapering down to 1/8"  and 1-1/6" @ the widest point. Blade is a stainless steel 440C, RC 59-62, flat grind drop point. Handle material African translucent Kudu scales measuring a full 5/8s of an inch thick @ the widest point. Colors in the Kudu are base pale tan with vibrant streaks of chocolate brown and gray. This horn is really different. It is almost transparent and somewhat translucent. Full tang runs through the handle. Two mosaic pins and nickel silver guard.Overall length of this beauty measures  a hefty 8-1/2". Can be used as a hunting knife as well as a collectible. Knife has been built not only for beauty, but ruggedness and long wear. The uniqueness of the knife is in the detail and perfected craftsmanship.

The customized sheath has also been hand tooled and hand sewn specifically for this knife out of thick 1/8" leather with heavy rivets giving it extra reinforcement for long wear. Sheath has been back looped letting you wear the knife in comfort on your belt for either left or right handed use and easy access.

Both the knife and sheath were designed and built by Jim Backner. With his own business, he has been creating and selling his knives for over twenty five years. The signature He uses for his knives is Bocki and is placed on the sheaths that go with each knife.
