Now we have a multi-voltage output power supply(add $5.99 for this upgrade).The dimmer power supply is actually a multi voltage power adaptor with 6v, 7.5V, 9V, 12V and an "off" setting. By setting to 6V, 7.5V or 9V, you can dim the light or turn it off.

Lighting effect is very even thanks to our wide angle LEDs and the tubing.

LEDs:
These LEDs are 5mm 6000mcd wide angle super bright,470nm wavelength,extremely close to the natural moon light.The other spec that affects the moonlighting effect and people are not aware of is the angle that the light covers. All my moonlights are wide angle which can cover wider range than the normal LED lights ( or other moonlights selling on the market). That's why my customers love my lights. Do not just focus on the brightness. LEDs are known as very directional unlike other source of lighting. Having a wider angle is a must for moonlight. You can not just use any blue LEDs and call that "moonlight".There are tons of sources selling blue LEDs, but those are 15-30 degree. My wide angle blue LEDs are 50 degree, which are the best of LED lighting, moonlights for example. The price for these wide angle LEDs are more than double compared to those normal LEDs.

Our Wide Angle LEDs provide a more natural moonlighting effect. In fact, users of normal LEDs often complain of bright spots in the aquarium directly beneath each LED, while the use of our Wide Angle LED Tube Light allows you to spread the light evenly across the tank.

Power supply:
Input 120 VAC with UL and CSA approval.

You may put this light on the top of your tank, just like most of the moon lights selling on the market, but not "in" the water. A little water splash will not damage the light at all. Our unique square lights make them very easy to install. Round lights are hard to install.
