This set has it all! Moda fabrics, Swarvoski Crystals, Eyelet underskirt, hand made ruffles and pleated trims, satin flower pin, reversible bow tie sash - Wow!

A recent trip to a fantastic local fabric store inspired this pretty summer set. I used 3 fabrics from the Moda 3 Sisters Simplicity range in co-ordinating colors to create this pretty set. I also added some rose floral fabric trim in pleate form and an ivory eyelet underskirt. The Moda fabrics are of superb premium quality which is reflected in the price.

The colors are wonderful in light blue, ivory, lemon and rose pink. Very, very girly and pretty but a change from just pink!

The dress is made from light blue and white polka dot fabric, with 2 different floral fabric trims, plus the rose pleate trim at the hem line. The ivory eyelet underskirt has ruffle trim at the front and back which can be seen peaking from under the top skirt at gathered points. Each point is trimmed with a light lemon button with Swarvoski Crystal Champagne trim. Gorgeous. The top skirt has lemon bias trim at 4 vertical points. So much detail. The dress has an elasticated back for easy fitting and a tie neck. The neckline/top of the bodice is trimmed with delicate pleates which continue around and finish under each arm. The pretty reversible tie sash has plain blue and white polka dot fabric on one side and pieced fabric from the set on the other. Each sash end has been trimmed with a little floral fabric pleate. The co-ordinating floral pants are wide leg and so, so pretty. They have been trimmed with a floral pleate hem, with rose fabric peaking underneath. Each side seam is trimmed with double satin bows and Swarvoski Crystal Champagne trims. The waistband is elasticated for comfort and easy fitting. The pants could be worn with plain white t-shirt or tank and the tie sash for a more casual look.

All seams are serged for a professional and long lasting finish. Where appropriate, seams have been top stitched for a beautiful finish.
