For anyone not totally comfortable with computers, there’s also a longer version of the information, that goes into more detail, on the same page. The Digital Book with Turning Pages is a friendly technology that can be shaped into unique memorabilia and meaningful personal gifts, as well as catalogs and other items useful to the artist or collector. Unlike a printed paper book, it’s an adaptable medium because the digital book can have any number of pages, from 2 to 1000. And every single page can have color artwork for no additional cost. What you can do with your custom digital Book: • E-mail it to friends and family. • Copy it onto CDs to give away • Include links to web pages in the book. • Print out any page, or the whole book • Artists, models, designers - use it as a digital portfolio to showcase examples of your creativity. • At book signings, trade shows, or other events, or in a store window or other retail display, set automatic page turning to show your book over and over. The Digital Book works on a PC with Windows, or a Mac (with a PC emulator.) What you get: A custom-designed page-turning Digital Book with your pictures and words. The number of pages offered means pages of YOUR content. The cover (which you can provide an image for) doesn’t count toward the page total, and the last page will contain information about my services and about the software developer. Your part: Send me the pictures and words for your Digital Book, and specify your choices from the list below. My part: Within a week after receiving your pictures, words, and payment, I will send you a proof copy, as an e-mail attachment. This will be what’s known as a DNL file. Your part: To see this DNL file, you will need to download the Reader, a very small file that loads quickly even with a land line. Next, take a good look at your Digital Book, and e-mail me about any needed corrections. My part: After making corrections and finalizing the Digital Book, I will send you a CD through the U.S. Mail. It will contain two versions of your Digital Book, one that can be copied onto disks, and one that can be e-mailed. The cost is $5 per page, so this item is priced at $5, with each additional page also $5. The left-hand side is a page, and the right-hand side is another page. For instance, 12 pages - $60 or 24 pages - $120. Or whatever number of pages you need, times 5.
