Here is a custom, hand made, hand carved Ranch Cutter / Roper style saddle made by Sever D Saddlery out of Belen, New Mexico. As you can see from the pics, this is a saddle that retails well over $2000. This saddle is made with all Herman Oak leather. The tooling is very detailed and very deep carved. This saddle has a 15½" hard seat & Cutter / Roper style tree with 7" quarter horse bars. To tell you a bit more:
Tree: Lifetime, rawhide covered. QH bars.
Seat: 15½" Padded seat.
Swell: 13" all hand tooled.
Cantle: 3½" all hand tooled.
Rigging: Stainless Steel Double D's.
Skirts: 100% REAL WOOL MOHAIR LINING.
Pattern: Hand carved SWIRL floal pattern and Waffle Tooling with BLACK & SILVER CONCHOS throughout.
Finish: Oiled and hand polished.
The skirt measures about 28 inches long. The saddle weights about 38 lbs with everything on it. It comes with, latigo tie strap, latigo off billets and tooled to match roping back flank cinch/girth.
