This cute planter features a reclining camel. The nicely detailed camel sports a scimitar-style sword strapped to his side. The sword has 3 raised Chinese-style characters on it. The unit as a whole is about 3 inches tall, 5 ½ inches wide, and 4 ½ inches deep. The planter portion, which has an embossed “basket weave” pattern on its exterior, is about 2 ½ by 3 ½ inches and just under 2 inches deep – perfect for a few small cacti. The planter is made from a heavy, white porcelain-looking clay and is covered in a thick white glaze. The piece is marked “NILOAK” on the underside in block letters. The planter has a couple of small chips on the underside of the “basket” portion (visible in photo below), but these are not visible when the planter is upright. Otherwise, the planter is in excellent condition!
