If we have left something uncovered ask and we will answer . ITEM DESCRIPTION & DIMENSIONS Overall dimensions are 55cm wide by 76cm high by 80cm deep. Floor to seat height is 40cm A fantastic and very rare vintage rocking chair. We bought this a couple of years ago and have been researching it ever since. Most definitely has a provenance behind it and we think that the design can be attributed to Georg Jensen for the Canadian Trading Company. Any info about this will be gratefully received. Amazing primitive style - shall we say 'rustic-modernist' ?? This is early - late fifties - early sixties. It's beautifully designed and built using solid beech with stained 'teak' effect finish and intricate fixings. Great angular shape with these fantastic 'spikey' rockers. It's also fantastically comfortable and offers you a really good 'rock'!! Professionally re-upholstered - by that we mean stripped down to the original frame and completely rebuilt with new foams & batting. Recovered using a flat purple upholstery weight 100% linen...SWATCHES ARE AVAILABLE - EMAIL US YOUR ADDRESS & WE WILL POST OUT. As with all of our vintage upholstery this chair is FULLY COMPLIANT WITH CURRENT UK FIRE REGULATIONS AND LAW and SAFE TO USE WITHIN A DOMESTIC OR BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. Overall condition is excellent and free from any damage or repair. It does have a few scuffs and knocks here & there - as to be expected from a vintage piece. One of the fixings caps, which incidentally are brass and pretty little things has gone missing - this could be recent - so we will have a look round the warehouse - if not we will have to cover with something else.
