It is a fine vine not thick but it is very pretty and sports lots and lots of beautiful DARK VELVET PURPLE COLORED FLOWERS About 4-5 inches in diameter.. Very noticeable and quite beautiful! This vine grows well when their roots are cool.. so I suggest once it gets established to plant a ground cover around where you plant it...I have done that with all my clematis vines and they are doing super! Plant in Full to partial Sun. Can grow 10' Ft., high. These will continue to bloom on and off all spring and summer long. Wait till you see these growing in Your Garden! You Will Not Believe How Pretty these Are! They just grow Pretty every year!!! They will go dormant in the wintertime but regrow back from the actual vine so it is best not to trim them so they can grow well. I would not be without these at my home!
