Hand Carved Hardwood
Barrette, Size: Extra Large
Materials: Machiche, "Key Lime" Dyed Hardwood

I combined a natural wood, beautiful steed-brown Machiche, with a laminated Dyed Hardwood, a colorway I call "Key Lime." I simply LOVE the way the wood grain on the Machiche goes -- it looks like rays enveloping the strip of Dyed Hardwood! A fun and eye-catching combination! (The photo shows both sides of the barrette). The barrette is backed by the highest quality "Made in France" metal clip, which is approximately three and three-quarter inches long. Total length of the barrette is about four and three-quarter inches. Curved for comfort: heirloom quality. This barrette is engraved on the back with my signature/artist's mark.

All of my items are tested for durability and strength. They're not simply ornamental -- they are fully functional tools and ornaments created with the finest materials and techniques in order for you to have a tool that is both beautiful and works comfortably and efficiently at the same time... just as it should.

I've been a fiber artist for over twenty-five years, and now use my experience to design one-of-a-kind items: from the tools of the trade (crochet hooks, knitting needles, spinning tools, etc.) to items of personal adornment such as hairpins, jewelry, and much more!
