D'Angelico Excel EXL-1 - 17" Archtop Single Cutaway Electric Guitar

For the archtop traditionalist, the EXL-1 is a new classic. Never before has this much guitar been made so accessible.

The acoustic sound is full and resonant, while the Kent Armstrong-designed floating pickup yields an electric sound of great nuance and authority.

Visual appointments include some that haven't been seen since John D'Angelico himself was making instruments - the solid-brass, polished Excel tailpiece and stained wood headstock overlay harken back to the good ol' days on Kenmare Street.
