Compatibility:
This is the improved version, with single-piece positive contacts and a stronger casing/shield. It will last longer than the old one with a horseshoe-shaped positive contact that is connected to the internal contacts by pressure only. And the extra holes in front of this new jack are only cosmetic, but indicate the presence of stronger contacts. Although it looks different, the legs line up exactly and all dimensions are the same. This will directly replace the old jack. Dell now uses this version in their newest laptops.

    Within the USA, both USPS First Class and USPS Priority shipments are typically delivered 1-3 days after we ship, Mon-Sat, but Priority is more reliably fast. Priority Mail sent Friday or Saturday is often delivered Monday, even across the country, because USPS transports mail on Sundays! Destinations in the Los Angeles / San Bernardino area usually receive both types the next day after we ship.
    Outside the USA, shipping will be via USPS First Class Mail International. No delivery estimate is available for international mail.
