The many delicate touches presented here, including a Grandmother's Fan quilt, are true Paula Vaughan treasures. The flower-trimmed pincushion was one of many fashioned by her mother. With a loving smile, Paula recalls, "My mother was always making pincushions and sachets and putting little flowers around them." Paula dressed her paned-glass window in ruffled curtains, the kind of window treatment she has always had in her home.
This recently completed masterpiece, from a smoke-free home, has been intricately stitched on 18 count ivory aida using DMC floss. The design area is 9 1/4 X 8 inches on a 14 X 16 inch cloth.
