"FRANCISCO de OLMEDO, IN THE NAME OF FRANCISCO MARTIN, TRAINED BLACKSMITH, RESIDENT OF THE MINES OF POTOSI, AND IN NAME, SELLS TO DIEGO de AVALES, A SLAVE NAMED FRANCISCO, HE IS POSSESSED BY DEMONS, HE WETS HIS BED, HE HAS 'MAL de BUBAS', HE EATS DIRT, AND HE IS SOLD FOR 310 PESOS WHICH HAS BEEN RECEIVED." 8 FEBRUARY, 1557

THE SLAVE SALE DETAILS ARE CONTAINED ON FIVE OF THESE PAGES.
THIS EXTREMELY RARE RECORD FROM 1557 SHOWS HOW LITTLE HUMANS WERE THOUGHT OF. IT SAD PROOF OF SLAVE HISTORY IN THE NEW WORLD AMERICAS.
