PLEASE  read this first so there will be no mystery on the shipping charges!  Welcome to my auction!  I want to state that I do not box up items unless they sell.  I base the shipping charge on the zip code and weight.  I only charge actual shipping plus sometimes  .50 cents to help cover the cost of shipping supplies.  I do require Delivery Confirmation on every package.  That cost ranges between .65 and .75 cents.  This eliminates people from telling me they never received their packages.  I do not inflate shipping.  Please read my feedback.  Smaller items will have a stated shipping charge.  Also, below the description are a few things I would like you to read prior to bidding.   Now for the item description:

Offered is a nice village piece from Department 56 Dickens' Village Series.  This piece is basically new and in the box.  It is called the Ebenezer Scrooge's House.  It is numbered 56.58490.  It measures 10 x 10.25 x 8.25".  It was introduced in December 2001. This house has an animated interior scene that features desperate hauntings of chained ghosts.  It is made of porcelain and lights up!  This piece was displayed only once for a very short time.  I am listing a bunch of my Department 56 collection.  Note that some of the pieces have not ever been displayed but opened up at the shop where I purchased them.  This was done to ensure no damage before I left the store.  I did mark on the styrofoam, which direction or where a certain piece goes back.  This made it easier to put the piece back in the original box.  These pieces have been in storage so some of the box sleeves may not be pristine condition,  but in very good condition.  I am listing the pieces with Free Shipping and Delivery Confirmation.  If you want insurance, that is your option.  Note that I am not responsible once the item is in the hands of the Post Office, so I highly recommend insurance.  This comes from a non-smoking home. When this auction ends, I will be out of town on business.  I will not be back to mail anything out until the 21st-24th of May; sorry for the delay.  I will try to check the auctions as I am out of town and send an invoice.  Please do not pay until you have the invoice.  If I choose to accept offers lower than the stated price, then you will have to pay the shipping, delivery confirmation and insurance if requested.  I am only offering Free Shipping if full price is paid with the Buy It Now option.   Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!  Thank you for looking!
