This is a lighted building in the Dickens' Village Series.  It was made from mid-1994 through 1997.  It is in excellent condition, with no chips, nicks, or cracks.  The bottom of the shop is marked:

DICKENS' VILLAGE SERIES
"GIGGELSWICK MUTTON & HAM"
c Department 56 1994

There is also a Dept 56 sticker on the bottom of the piece.

This piece will come to you with its light cord in its original box and styrofoam packaging.  As you can see in our photo, the box sleeve is in poor condition.  It is torn all the way down one side and it is being held together by masking tape.  There is also a 1.5 inch tear on the bottom of the sleeve.  There are some scrapes, and there are bits of wrapping paper on the bottom.  The styrofoam packaging is intact, but some bits of styrofoam have chipped away and there is one large piece missing (2" x 1.5").  Please let us know if you would like to see any additional photos.
