Hello to all my fellow dinosaurs. Welcome to my world of 45’s. That’s right, those little records with the big hole in the middle. To those of you, who like me would rather listen to a 45 than a CD or MP3 or whatever they’re called, you have come to the right place. I still love 45’s and will continue to sell them until the day that I die.
Here’s the scoop on our records. All vinyl 45's are in MINT CONDITION. They are the ORIGINAL VERSIONS by the ORIGINAL ARTISTS, no re-recordings (unless otherwise noted in the trivia line). They are brand new factory fresh, unplayed, no scratches, shiny vinyl and labels. Just like the old days when you bought from your local record shop. While they may not be the on the original label, they are the ORIGINAL VERSIONS by the ORIGINAL ARTISTS, no re-recordings. These are the hits that you remember. The year listed next to each title is the year of release or the year that the record hit the charts, and not the year that this copy of the record was manufactured. The photos are to give you a view of what the label looks like. In some cases we use a generic illustration. Oldies 45’s are becoming harder to find in mint condition since they are no longer being made. They have often changed labels over the years. As a result all of our 45’s are out of print. It has been several years since the record companies have stopped issuing oldies on 7 inch vinyl. Our re-issue 45’s are the best source for original hit sounds on 7 inch vinyl. They are in as good a condition as the day they were manufactured. Whether you’re buying for a record player or juke box, turn back the clock and sit back with a stack of 45's and enjoy these great memories.
OUR RULES OF DOING BUSINESS
We offer quality products at fair prices.
We don't make a profit on shipping. We don't charge a low price for an items and add a high shipping cost. Our shipping charges cover the cost of postage and packaging materials. We ship in strong high quality cardboard mailers and boxes that cost us 70 cents each. New postal rates went into effect on May 12, 2008. We did not raise our shipping rates. First Class mail with Delivery Confirmation for one 45 to an address in the U.S.A. is $1.86. Add the cost of the corrugated mailer and our cost comes to $2.56. Some sellers charge $5.00 or more. The extra money is pure profit for the seller.
Customers are the single most important person in any business venture.
Customers are not even slightly dependent on us. We are totally dependent on them.
Customers are not an interruption of our work. They are the ONLY purpose of our work.
Customers are people who come to us with their wants or needs. It is our job to fulfill them.
Customers are a part of our business, not outsider. They have choices of who they do business with. We are not doing them a favor by waiting on them. They are doing us a favor by choosing us. We are very lucky that they are giving us a chance. It is our job to make them happy that they did choose us.
Customers are not just money in the cash register. They are human beings with thoughts and feelings just like us. We will treat them in the same manner that we wish to to be treated.
Customers deserve the most courteous and detailed attention that we can give to them. They are the heart and oul of any business. Without customers there is no business.
Whether a customer returns to us is determined by the quality of the product and service that we provide to them. If they are happy with us, they may come back. If they are unhappy with us, the most certainly will not return.
It may take days, weeks, months or even years to find a loyal customer. It takes only seconds to lose one.
Honest and integrity will determine the strength of any business. Anything less is self defeating.
The day that we forget any of this becomes the day that we have no business.
