As a FYI, we do not use FedEx's insurance. We have found thru
experience that if something happens, it takes way too long to file,
have FedEx investigate and then they do not always pay
out the claim. In the mean time, the customer
is not happy for all the hassle and the long wait.
If the customer is not happy, then neither are we.
Also, FedEx's insurance does not cover items that do not show
physical damage.
The insurance we now use is great. If
the scales arrive dead, it is covered. Also,
there is no paperwork to fill out, no waiting for a claim to be
investigated. No hassles either. We
immediately send you out a new one.
We do our best to take care of all of our customers. The
small insurance charge enables us to help you out if there are any
issues.
The
S & H charges covers all costs such as postage, custom boxes,
packing materials, labels and labor to pack and ship the order.
It
is labor intensive but we go thru great effort to make sure your order
will arrive to you safe and sound. Your scale, AC adapter and 9-Volt
battery will all be packed very carefully and safely placed inside a
custom shipping box specially designed for the scale.
At this time, we only ship to the continental USA. We do not ship to
Canada, HI, AK, PR or any other outlying areas.
