  UP FOR AUCTION IS A RARE AND ONE-OF-A-KIND LARGE SIGN MEASURING APPROX. 14" x 22". THIS CAME FROM THE ESTATE OF A FORMER 40-YEAR CAST MEMBER OF THE DISNEYLAND SIGN SHOP.  

THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OBTAIN A WORKING SIGN THAT DISNEYLAND USED INTERNALLY WHEN THEY NEEDED VARIOUS MESSAGING SIGNS THROUGHOUT THE THEME PARK, LIKE "UNDER CONSTRUCTION", "RIDE CLOSED," OR "PIN HUNT TODAY".  THE SIGN SHOP WOULD TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS PROOF, AND THEN ADD THEIR OWN LETTERING THAT THEY NEEDED TO CREATE THE FINAL ACTUAL SIGN FOR USE IN THE PARK. 

THIS RARE SIGN FOR AUCTION WAS LIKELY USED IN THE 90s.  THE CHARACTER IS MADE OUT OF SPECIAL FLAT CAMERA PAPER SO THAT IT DOES NOT GLARE.  THE CHARACTER WAS THEN MOUNTED ONTO HIGH QUALITY CRESCENT BRAND ARTIST BOARD - AND THEN IT WAS READY FOR PHOTOGRAPHY.
